The deceased has been identified as Chanda Devi (29), a resident of Chhapra Megh in Mushari police station area. Chanda Devi was married in Gudri in Nagar police station area. The deceased’s brother Sanjeev says that his sister’s in-laws used to constantly harass her for dowry. He told that she was being constantly beaten up since she was married to Munna Shah in 2020. Meanwhile, Chanda also gave birth to two daughters. But the harassment did not stop with her.
